Over the past decade, the popularity of community based participatory research (CBPR) as a framework for engaging communities in the research process has grown immensely. This session will explore the diversity of CBPR in API communities.
Session Objectives: At the end of the session, participants will be able to: (1) Describe at least two cultural considerations relevant in conducting CBPR in API communities; and (2) Discuss at least two successful applications of CBPR among APIs.
