In this session, presenters will make presentations and answer questions on new developments on the following topics: population radiation exposure in Japan after the earthquake, drought and famine in Africa, counterfeit medicines, prison health, health care reform, and public health response to tornados.
Session Objectives: Describe current issues concerning new developments in major issues of public health. Describe what public health workers can do to address these issues.
