: 2:50 PM - 3:10 PM
ASTHO in conjunction with Purdue University conducted an evaluation of existing State Health Improvement Plans (SHIPs). The evaluation was conducted by identifying existing SHIPs among all 50 states and the District of Columbia, developing a standardized form for data collection, and performing primary data collection from the individual plans. As a result of this evaluation, ASTHO created a State Health Improvement Plan (SHIP) Guidance and Resource document. ASTHO will provide the key components of SHIP development and implementation and describe other technical assistance resources available to state health agencies.
