This session focuses on health promotion across the life span. Papers presented in this session range from the use of photovoice as a management technique for minority adolescents with asthma, to a wellness program for older adults, to the evaluation of a tobacco free school policy to improve the health of children, and finally to the use of health screenings to teach preventive services to commmunity health nursing students.
Session Objectives: 1. Describe health promotion programs for different age groups. 2. Evaluate the success of the different types of programs presented.
