Monday, October 29, 2012: 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM
Oral
The purpose of the seminar is to provide a communication platform between editor and scientist and help faculties and students develop advanced skills and knowledge to publish in high-profile vision/eye journals. Presentations could include, but not limited to, the editorial process for peer-reviewed journals, successful scientific writing, finding the right journal, expectations from a high-profile journal, communications with editor, etc. The contents need to be appropriate to all levels of scientists (e.g., trainees, junior investigators, or seasoned scientists). We hope the session could stimulate more editor-scientist discussions and increase publications on vision and eye care related to public health.
