Late Breaking Developments in Public Health

In this session, presenters will make presentations and answer questions on new developments concerning public health on the following topics: The war in Syria, the response to the Boston Marathon bombings, implementation of the Affordable Care Act, new developments concerning climate change, and the cutbacks in the food stamp program.
Session Objectives: Describe current issues concerning new developments in major issues of public health. Describe what public health workers can do to address these issues.
