The purpose of this session is to share the results of a survey conducted by the World Federation of Public Health Associations (WFPHA) about the progress in the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), the factors that have affected positively and negatively the capacity of countries to achieve them by 2015 and some thinking about the definition of post-2015 global human development goals.
Session Objectives: Describe and discuss the findings of the WFPHA survey about the MDGs
Identify and compare the factors that have affected positively and negatively the achievement of the MDGs
Identify and discuss potential post-2015 global human development goals
