Biographical Sketch: Kathleen C Thomas, PhD, MPH
Dr. Thomas is a Research Associate and Fellow, at the Sheps Center for Health Services Research, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Associate Director of the UNC-CH Training Program in Health Services Research, National Research Service Award Fellowship Program. Her work focuses on workforce issues, spanning mental health professional workforce shortages as well as employment of adults with psychiatric and other disabilities. She also studies access to mental health care for children with autism and other serious mental illness, and is currently examining factors that lead to racial disparities in service use.
