Biographical Sketch: John Gettens is a research scientist at the Center of Health Policy and Research at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. His research interests include the employment and healthcare of persons with disabilies. John received his Ph.D. at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University in 2009. John's prior work included the administration of Medicaid, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Food Stamps and State Supplement programs.
