Biographical Sketch:
Gina Besenyi, is a doctoral student in the Arnold School of Public Health at the University of South Carolina. Her research focuses on how built environment attributes and community design promote active living. Specifically, her research explores the role of parks and green space and how their availability, accessibility, and design influence physical activity behavior. Gina completed her MPH at Kansas State University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior.
