Biographical Sketch: James E. Cone, Medical Director, World Trade Center Health Registry, is an occupational medicine physician and internist with over 30 years experience in local, state and federal government as well as academic arenas. He was Chief, Occupational Health Branch of the Department of Public Health for the State of California, where he directed occupational health surveillance studies and public health outbreak investigations. He has an MD degree from UCSF and an MPH from UC Berkeley.
