Obesity continues to be a major epidemic in the US population with associated morbidities and high dollar costs. This panel highlights CDC's obesity prevention work including partner initiatives in addressing obesity through programs, practices and applied research at the national, state, and community levels.
Session Objectives: 1. Discuss CDC resources, including data, reports, and tools, available to support initiatives and strategies for obesity prevention. 2. Describe one CDC partner initiative that addresses obesity.
