Prominent issues in women's health from girls to women

Best practices around the world from girls to women could improve women's health by highlighting the low-income, vulnerable populations and birth outcomes. In this session presenters will discuss findings that explain gender issues in locally and globally, maternal health outcomes, health promotion behaviors, and school violence. Target audiences include, child health consultants, policymakers, program analysts, healthcare providers, and public health professionals.
Session Objectives: Describe maternal child health outcomes pre and post pregnancy; Discuss violence and aggression in girls and boys and how they feel victimized; and Discuss how health promotion programs and gender determine health outcomes in girls vs. boys
