Sunday, November 3, 2013: 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM
Poster
As science advances for women’s health, the keys to successful treatment must be identified, as well as mediating and moderating factors that impact the best possible health outcomes. In this poster session, several disease states are explored within the context of women’s health in order to decipher what key factors should be considered when creating women-focused health programs for recurring and chronic disease states.
Session Objectives: Describe the experience of women living with chronic illness. Identify chronic illness health disparities among women. Assess the challenges faced by women living with chronic illness and identify opportunties to overcome those challenges.
