This session will be hands-on practice with both individual and small group work.  Using a case study type format, participants will assess sample documentation against the requirements of the Standards and Measures (1.5) and against PHAB requirements.  Participants will be given immediate feedback on their selection choices. The exercises will be preceded by a short lecture on the key elements used to evaluate the appropriateness of documentation to meet standards.

Group discussion will follow the hands-on exercises.  The group members will discuss their findings as faculty discusses the strengths and weaknesses of the sample documentation.  Participants will also participate in critiquing each small group’s documentation selection.
