The final portion of this Learning Institute is devoted to providing participants with the opportunity to practice the knowledge and skills cultivated during the previous sessions. Participants will design a small-scale qualitative research project, including practicing data collection and analysis procedures.  Finally, towards fostering a community of “lifelong learners,” participants will be introduced to additional resources, tools, and professional development opportunities that will aid them in building upon that current knowledge, skills, interest, and confidence in qualitative research.

-Identify an appropriate approach of qualitative inquiry.

-Identify the appropriate data collection methods for their related approach of inquiry.

-Demonstrate coding techniques.

-Demonstrate use of the Dedoose qualitative data analysis software.
