This session is designed to educate participants about the multiple steps involved in the analysis of qualitative data. Participants will learn how to “clean” and organize their data, different coding techniques available, steps for analyzing qualitative data, and how to apply different methods of analysis. Additionally, participants will be exposed to various analytical software tools that are frequently used to analyze qualitative data, with a special emphasis on and introduction to Dedoose. The presenter will draw from experiences with analyzing workforce data and the use of Black feminist epistemology with other relevant research materials.
