The purpose of this presentation is to provide an overview of the Healthy People initiative and to discuss the evolution of HealthyPeople.gov. This is the first decade where Healthy People is fully digital. HealthyPeople.gov allows Healthy People to be more dynamic and flexible to more readily respond to the changing priorities of public health by modifying the scope and focus of the topic areas and objectives. Learn about the newly launched web-based tools that provide strategies for state and local organizations to implement Healthy People 2020 in their communities. Individuals can access online the most current Healthy People 2020 objectives and data as they are updated throughout the decade.
