The Evidence-Based Resources search tool was recently launched on HealthyPeople.gov. Users are now able to perform a customized search to identify relevant Healthy People 2020-related evidenced-based resources. Resources include systematic reviews, non-systematic reviews, randomized controlled trials, and other resource types across the 42 Healthy People 2020 topic areas. During this demonstration, participants will learn how evidenced-based resources are identified for inclusion in this database and how to search the database to find evidence-based information and recommendations related to their specific goals.

Learning Areas:

Public health or related research
Social and behavioral sciences

Learning Objectives:
Demonstrate how to use Healthy People 2020's online, interactive evidenced-based resources tool. Identify at least one evidence-based resource related to a specific Healthy People 2020 topic area using the evidenced-based resources tool.
