Introduction:Obesity is a problem that affects most of the economically active population in Brazil. Part of this problem is attributed to the increased purchasing power that affects all social classes. The worker in Brazil is supported by governmental programs that provide food that meets their needs. Methods:Diagnostic study was conducted to identify if workers perform somemeal before starting your work. Preliminarly Results: It was observed that the majority did not perform the meal or when he did, chose between food available for sale, or quick meals such as fried pastries accompanied by soda orprocessed juices, although there was availability at the place of fruits and vegetables. Conclusion: It was concluded that there are actions that are necessary to encourage the consumption of the main meal of the day to reduce the physical wear-worker, and riseawareness of healthy food choices.
