Background and Objectives:

UAW collaboration with the Blue-Green alliance on breast cancer issues resulted from new evidence of elevated breast cancer in automotive plastics manufacturing. This presentation will  describe the nature of that collaboration

Methods, Results and Conclusion:  

This presentation will describe occupational breast cancer training delivered to UAW members and staff as well as other collaborative efforts between the two organizations.  It will describe the experience of those who received the training and the efforts undertaken to reduce carcinogen exposure in the workplace.
