Background: As more widely technology becomes the form of transmission of information, eliminate physical and geographic  barriers. Information technology can be applied so that the data necessary for wellness reach as many people as possible , even though at various sites. The benefits reflected in the care or self-care that will be transmitted with the tools available and may provide changes in quality of life Objective:  What kind of information technology is best applied to transmit information to public health promotion? Faced with this question, the purpose of this study was to analyze the literature of the last five years among the references available on PubMed site. Methods: Research qualiquantitative approach, in which it was possible to observe how the topics are dispersed or concentrated in the outcome with Bradford 's Law of the Bibliometrics The use of bibliometric method show to the scientific community which areas need to be explored further so there is depletion in discussing the subject and thus to advance to innovations that provide, as in the case of health, the welfare of the people . Results: The survey information on Pubmed done through a search strategy in MeshTerms field (terms: health information technology AND Informatics Health Education AND Public Health Informatics and all similar authorized terms). The strategy resulted in 108 articles, with which it was possible to obtain the calculation of the Bradford’s multiplier as well as composing a table that responds to the problem raised. Discussion: We understand that it is an area that needs to be explored further (in 108 results only 71 articles about, that demonstrated a low concentration, only a periodical), but same researches offer subsidies for replication in different realities as rural areas and specifics groups, in attention promotion public health and what kind type technological information.
