Just Click Search: Placing Evidence-Informed Interventions at the Fingertips of School Social Workers
In this session, participants will hear the process by which the Institute Scholars worked with the Hillsborough County Public school social workers to jointly decide upon the development of a searchable online database for identifying evidence-based interventions. This database is called eBIT (Evidence-Based Intervention Toolkit) and is a searchable electronic repository for evidence-based school social work interventions. Participants will learn how eBIT was designed and developed in collaboration with the HCPS Information Systems (IS) department; the research methods employed by Institute Scholars to identify evidence-based interventions to build the eBIT database; and how implementation of eBIT impacted the use of evidence-based interventions by social workers in the school district.
