This session will describe our assessment of all seven types of legal strategies that relate to prescription drug misuse, abuse, and overdose. Specific examples of states’ current laws will also be provided. Additionally, this session will include a brief summary of the evidence of harm and effectiveness related to each law type, while pointing out gaps in current evaluation of the laws.
