Affordable Care Act Implementation in the State of Florida
The Health Council of South Florida will survey federally credentialed Navigators and Certified Application Counselors in the State of Florida to obtain insight in to the states federally facilitated Health Insurance Marketplace during the 2013-2014 open enrollment period. By doing so, the Health Council will determine effective enrollment practices and identify challenges/barriers for English, Spanish and Creole populations in the State of Florida. The Health Council will partner with a national organization to distribute a survey to strong community partners who were actively involved in outreach, education and enrollment efforts during open enrollment. The survey will be distributed electronically and will then be analyzed to identify effective and efficient enrollment strategies for implementation during the Affordable Care Act’s 2014 Open Enrollment period.
