Define: The UCSD EyeMobile program is a model program that has been adopted by UCLA, UCI and Prevent Blindness Northern California (UCSF).  Ensuring preschool children have the vision they need to succeed in school and in life, the cost effective model uses a screening, exam, provision of glasses and intense follow up model to ensure no child is left untreated.

Outcomes: A total of 15,000 preschool children per year have been screened, 2000 have received full dilated eye exams and over 1300 have been prescribed glasses.
