The Colorado Health Foundation is a non-profit organization that engages through grantmaking, public policy, investing in evaluation, private sector engagement and communications outreach. Its partners include nonprofits, health care leaders, policy makers, educators and the private sector.

The Colorado Health Foundation has been successful in fostering cross-sector partnerships to ensure a future state where communities promote health and the health care system delivers excellent, affordable care to Coloradans, who both have and desire good health.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: As CEO of the Colorado Health Foundation, I guide our strategic direction in our efforts to make Colorado the healthiest state in the nation. I helped focus the organization on 3 outcomes, including healthy living, which focuses on healthy schools and communities, including through the built environment. Our Healthy Places project is a community-led successful cross-sector partnership example aimed to develop healthy communities and includes a partnership with the Urban Land Institute.
