Panel Discussion: Holding Ground or Changing Course: The Best Course of Action for The Census: Research, Policy and Implementation
Dr. Soskolne is the current Chair of the International Joint Policy Committee of the Societies of Epidemiology. This session will provide a summary of major changes and proposed changes to the census in several countries in the US, Canada, and Europe. Census information provides pivotal information relevant to public health decision-making; public health practitioners need to be aware of major changes that have occurred in some countries with little to no consultation with public health professionals.
