Nursing practice, health outcomes and research in Isreal will help nurses in the US learn about cultural competency in practices.  One of the practices and research studies to be discussed is the project to bridge peace in Israel.In order too learn nursing practice and research projects in these countries.

Learning Areas:

Conduct evaluation related to programs, research, and other areas of practice
Public health or related nursing

Learning Objectives:
Discuss Public Health issues and priorities that co-exist on both sides of the Israeli/ Arab conflict. Discuss analysis of the clinical and research findings from long-term collaborative international projects between Israel and Arab nations. Explore opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration to broadly leverage the public resources in the area.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I am the National Co-Chair of the Hadassah Nurses Councils. I am aware of the various collaborative efforts between Israeli and Arab Health Care professionals. Also I ave been a faculty member at Temple University teaching: Health Care & Diversity, a Study in Race designated course.
