The Community Health Improvement Application (IMAPP) is an online resource designed to provide community partners with the information they need to effectively and efficiently identify, select, and implement evidence-based interventions (EBIs) consistent with the Nine Public Health Aims for Quality (PHAQ).  The IMAPP differs from other EBI resources in that it focuses on specific interventions and provides the information needed for selection, adaptation, and implementation.  For instance, IMAPP uses a sophisticated filtering system to select EBIs that are best suited to communities’ needs and resources and provides detailed information on the tools and resources needed for effective testing and implementation for each EBI, such as step by step guides and toolkits, links to TA resources and “mentor organizations” that have successfully implemented the EBI, and quality measures.

Learning Areas:

Implementation of health education strategies, interventions and programs
Program planning

Learning Objectives:
Describe how IMAPP enhances existing EBI resources Demonstrate how community coalitions can use IMAPP to achieve the PHAQ
