The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) launched the Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) Case Registry in 2009.  Currently, CDC provides technical assistance to 9 state grantees to improve their case ascertainment, data completeness and timeliness of data.  This presentation will outline the history, progress and status of the SUID Case Registry as well as focus on efforts to improve data completeness.
