A multi-jurisdiction learning collaborative can reduce barriers to accreditation for small, under-resourced health departments. Providers of accreditation technical assistance in Indiana have embarked on a comprehensive strategy for shared learning that includes statewide summits, midyear meetings and inter-session work.

Identify collaborative strategies through which states may reduce barriers for small, rural health departments in preparation for accreditation.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I was appointed to working groups for Exploring Accreditation and the PHAB development process and I am presently a PHAB site visitor. I am leading the development of a statewide strategy to support health departments in accreditation preparation which will be the subject of my presentation.
