The student section of the Public Health Association of Nebraska has been working to build and encourage student involvement in public health across the state, and educate students about the importance and potential benefits of being involved. This session will describe ways in which students have been involved in promoting involvement and public health in Nebraska.

Discuss the activities of public health students in Nebraska as they relate to involvement with the local APHA affiliate.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I have been the student section chair of the Public Health Association of Nebraska (Nebraska APHA affiliate) for the past year and a half. In this role I promote student involvement in the affiliate and encourage and recruit public health students to participate in affiliate activities across the state.
