Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I currently serve as Vice President of Addictions at the National Council for Behavioral Health, and was formerly CEO of the State Associations of Addiction Services and CEO of the Georgia Council on Substance Abuse. I have an extensive background in advocacy for addiction services, including substance abuse parity in the Accountable Care Act. I am well prepared to speak about the current status and future direction of addiction policy at state and federal levels.
