During 2011-2012, 30 members of  South Valley local organizations and their supporters participated in MEDICC’s Community Partnerships for Health Equity (CPHE) program.  Participants first identified priority health-related challenges in the community, which was followed by two educational exchanges in Cuba.  The program inspired and informed various health-related initiatives to address the community’s challenges, which will be described in this presentation.
