Louisiana’s Medicaid Expansion Campaign 2015
In 2015, Louisiana will elect a new governor and gubernatorial campaigns may need at address the state’s refusal to expand Medicaid under the ACA. This presentation will outline the Jeremiah Group’s plans to continue its work to expand Medicaid in Louisiana’s upcoming election year.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I am the Lead Organizer with the Jeremiah Group, a broad-based community organization in Metropolitan New Orleans where people develop the political and social power needed to represent the interests of their families and their community. During my 20 years of leadership at the Jeremiah Group I helped to organize the community to address issues in areas such as Community Safety and Policing, Affordable Housing, and Public Education.
