Neil Russell is director of the Division of Surveillance and Data Collection in the Center for Behavioral Health and Statistics and Quality (CBHSQ), Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), with experience in these topic areas: behavioral health statistics and epidemiology; basic and applied research in behavioral health data systems and statistical methodology; surveillance and data collection. Neil received his Ph.D. in sociology from Arizona State University with a focus in survey research.
