The need for collaboration between primary care and public health is widely recognized. However, neither sector is equipped with a practical guide to integration. To address this need, the de Beaumont Foundation, Duke Community and Family Medicine and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have developed a new tool - A Practical Playbook: Public Health & Primary Care Together. In this presentation, we will explore the new tool and its implications on public health policy and epidemiologic capacity.
