Twice published bestselling author on topic vis a vis memoir. Survivor of violence &suicide in a housing project neighborhood that, at the time, held highest Concentration of poverty in America. Organized survivor coalitions in poor black and white neighborhoods at heights of homicide, suicide, &Drug epidemics. Professor at Northeastern U on all the above.
