This presentation introduces a core adaptable model for fatherhood programs that seeks to ensure high-functioning program by identifying core elements that help measure impact. The presentation emphasizes the need for establishing evaluation early on so that design and implementation is strategic and intentional.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I have been working in the MCH and fatherhood field for over 25 years. I have established three urban fatherhood programs that are still in operation today. I co-created the Core Adaptive Model (CAM©) for fatherhood programs on which federal Healthy Start sites are currently being trained. I have been both a researcher and evaluator of fatherhood programs. My expertise with male involvement and fatherhood include work with urban and rural communities.
