Community health centers have great potential to improve the health and well-being of public housing residents and contribute to health equity. This partnership between the housing and health sectors effectively promotes health and wellness to eliminate health disparities.

Demonstrate the utilization of culturally appropriate wellness activities and support services for public housing residents to improve their health and promote a culture of wellness. Describe the role of community health centers in partnership with the housing sector in addressing the social and environmental determinants of health, and connecting community residents to health care.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: Over the last several years I have successfully overseen the development and implementation of multiple state, federal and foundation grants including Safety Net Enhancement intervention in the Boston Public Housing Community and all Community Health Center Based Educational Services such as Women Infants and Children [WIC] a health and nutrition program for low income women and children, violence prevention programs for youth, pediatric and adult obesity programs and other Wellness Programs for men and women.
