The Global Public Health Functions is a model consisting of seven functions/services which should be provided by any given public health system.  The use of a global model that allows some variation while maintaining the core elements allows performance measurement and comparison and provides a systematic model for examining the public health system at a national level.

Systems thinking models (conceptual and theoretical models), applications related to public health

Describe the GPHF framework and the rationale behind it. Explain the purpose of developing the GPHFs and the aims of global adoption for the GPHFs
