Access and quality at primary health care (PHC) services in Brazil are among the major challenges to the Unified Health System (SUS), requiring efforts to spread training and education for public health workforce and PHC practitioners. Nowadays, ABRASCO (Brazilian Association of Collective Health) is coordinating a Research Network on PHC focusing on access and quality with 4,500 participants and is implementing a project of a Master Course on Health Family that is enrolling 32 Brazilian universities and would deliver about 1,000 fellowships in the whole country.
