This session will describe the factors that led to the creation of the Build Healthy Places Network. It will provide details on how the Network plans to catalyze increased collaboration across the sectors of community development & health and the potential impact of increased integration.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I am a physician, public health researcher and the Executive Director of a funded national center, the Build Healthy Places Network, that focuses on catalyzing cross-sectoral work at the intersection of community development and health. I also have been a leader in the Federal Reserve-RWJ Foundation Healthy Communities Initiative bringing together community development and health practitioners at over 15 meetings across the country since 2010.
