This presentation will review how the community development sector has come to see health as central to its work, and will explore financing and implementation strategies that support healthy communities concepts in practice.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I am the President and CEO of one of the Low Income Investment Fund, one of the largest and highest performing community development financial institutions in the country. I have over 30 years of experience in community development including positions at the Ford Foundation, the IWMI, and as a consultant to the DHUD and the DOT.
