This presentation will describe the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) online tool-- A Practitioner’s Guide for Advancing Health Equity: Community Strategies for Preventing Chronic Disease. The presentation will include lessons learned and innovative ideas on how to incorporate health equity into foundational skills and public health practices and useful approaches for maximizing tobacco-free living, healthy food and beverage, and active living strategies to advance health equity.
