Louisiana’s unique state dynamic regarding Medicaid Expansion will be highlighted during this scientific session.  This presentation will offer perspective from a state that is not participating in Medicaid Expansion.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: Alma is founder and president of the Louisiana Center for Health Equity, a nonprofit organization established to address disparities in health and health care. She serves as the convener/organizer for the Campaign for Healthcare for Everyone – Louisiana, which consists of a diverse group that spans the gamut of stakeholders who have come together for the specific purpose of engaging many different voices in support of expanding access to healthcare and ACA Medicaid expansion.
