Health in All Policies initiatives are spreading rapidly and dynamically in the United States and around the world. Health in All Policies initiatives bring agencies and individuals together from multiple sectors for the broad purpose of advancing health broadly, rather than to work on just one particular policy. There are many ways to do this work, and the membership, level of formality, and activities of each group will vary. This presentation will describe a number of challenges, including evaluation of collaborative policy work, stakeholder/community engagement, government decision-making processes, and developing leadership/political will.

Public health or related public policy
