This session provides an opportunity to share and critique innovative strategies designed to address health disparities and system-level implementation issues, and evaluate the impact of policy guidelines on maternity services. This important opportunity will facilitate discussion among practitioners, researchers and policy makers that will further develop the practice, research, and policy agendas in maternity services.
Session Objectives: Describe the processes, outcomes and lessons learned from the implementation of two innovative strategies designed to enhance prenatal and postpartum care.
Describe the potential impact of strategies that address health disparities and system-level implementation issues, and evaluate policy guidelines on practice in maternity services.
