This session will focus on why mental health is important in building healthier communities and discuss why mental health issues are not given as much attention as they require. The stigma asscoiated with treatment associated with mental health disorders and lack of clear cut policies to address mental health challenges will also be highlighted
Session Objectives: Discuss the importance of mental health in communities Identify the challenges faced in promoting improved mental health in societies.
